How Kindred is intended to work

Invited adult CPSWDC members submit a Kindred application for review. Approval for CPSWDC membership and approval for Kindred are separate.

Approved members can propose online services. Each listing is reviewed for scope and risk before it appears in the member directory.
Request support
Members can request eligible online support for themselves or an adult family member. A family beneficiary does not need a separate account.

The proposed directory spans eight areas. Each service is reviewed individually; regulated or high-responsibility services are disabled unless separately approved.

A shared standard for time

The proposed Kindred Points (KP) system uses a consistent time-based standard across categories. The proposed rate is 2,500 KP per 15 minutes, with 5,000 welcome KP on approval. These rules are subject to CPSWDC and legal review.

KP cannot be purchased, withdrawn, sold, or freely transferred between members. Any exchange would require both participants to confirm the service before settlement.

Trust and care come first

Services are intended for online delivery. The pilot excludes individual legal advice, regulated financial or investment advice, diagnosis and therapy unless separately approved. Services involving minors or sensitive health matters require additional review.

Members control what they share. Application details, family information, and service arrangements are intended to be accessible only to the people who need them.

These Version 1 operating documents summarize the proposed pilot plan. CPSWDC and its advisors must approve final policies before membership approval and KP exchange can open.

Kindred is an invitation-only pilot for approved adult CPSWDC members. Family beneficiaries must also be adults and do not receive a separate account.
Services must be delivered online, stay within the reviewed listing scope, and use the listed duration. Neither participant may add time or fees without prior agreement.
Do not provide individual legal advice, regulated financial or investment advice, diagnosis, or treatment unless CPSWDC separately approves the service.
Do not record sessions or upload medical records, legal case files, or other sensitive documents. Share only the information needed to arrange a service.
Treat members respectfully, protect information shared in confidence, and use the report and dispute channels for concerns.

Pilot participation terms · kindred-pilot-agreement-v1

KP is a proposed internal measure of service time. It has no cash value and cannot be purchased, withdrawn, sold, or freely transferred.
The proposed standard is 2,500 KP per confirmed 15 minutes, with a one-time 5,000 KP welcome grant after approval. These amounts remain subject to CPSWDC approval.
Service requests, reservations, and settlement remain closed until the pilot policies and required reviews are approved.
If exchange opens, cancelling before the scheduled start releases the reservation. The requester confirms completion before settlement; a dispute pauses settlement for review.
KP expiry and treatment when a member leaves the pilot are still under review. No expiry or exit rule is active while those decisions remain open.
